Shipping policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
EWP Spares ships EWP parts and related products throughout Australia and to selected international destinations.
This Shipping Policy explains our dispatch, delivery, special-order and international shipping arrangements.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days.
Business days are Monday to Friday excluding public holidays applicable to our warehouse operations.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page or at checkout, in-stock products are generally processed for dispatch within 1–2 business days.
During unusually busy periods or circumstances outside our control, processing may take longer.
If an order is urgent, please contact EWP Spares before ordering or immediately after placing the order so we can advise what options are available.
2. Warehouse
Orders are generally dispatched from our warehouse in New South Wales, Australia:
EWP Spares Pty Ltd
Unit 9 – Silo Storage
104 Southwell Road
Oran Park NSW 2570
Australia
Some special-order products may be supplied through alternative fulfilment arrangements.
3. In-Stock Products
Products identified as In Stock are generally available for dispatch from our available inventory.
Stock quantities can change quickly and occasional stock discrepancies may occur.
If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you with available options.
4. Special-Order Products
Products identified as:
Special Order – Approx. 7–14 Business Days
are not normally available for immediate dispatch.
The displayed timeframe is an estimated procurement or dispatch timeframe and may vary depending on:
- supplier availability
- manufacturer production
- international freight
- customs clearance
- weekends and public holidays
- events outside our reasonable control.
If you require a special-order item urgently, please contact us before ordering.
5. Backorders
Trade customers may be able to place certain out-of-stock products on backorder.
Estimated arrival dates are provided as a guide.
Supplier and freight delays can affect backorder dates.
If a material delay occurs, we will provide available options in accordance with applicable law.
6. Australian Shipping
We ship to addresses throughout Australia using selected freight, courier and postal providers.
Available shipping options and applicable charges are displayed at checkout where supported.
Delivery time varies depending on:
- destination
- freight service selected
- product size and weight
- regional or remote location
- carrier network conditions.
Estimated delivery times begin from dispatch, not from the date the order was placed.
7. Express Freight
Where an express service is available, selecting express freight affects the carrier's transit service.
It does not necessarily reduce:
- order processing time
- supplier lead time
- special-order lead time
- backorder lead time.
A Special Order product does not become an in-stock product simply because express freight is selected.
8. Freight Estimates
Any delivery date or transit timeframe displayed on our Website or provided by a freight company is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Carrier delays can occur because of:
- weather
- road closures
- peak periods
- industrial action
- airline capacity
- freight network disruption
- remote delivery requirements
- other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will assist with reasonable freight enquiries where an order is delayed.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.
9. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information will generally be provided once the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after a shipping label is created.
10. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for checking the delivery address before submitting an order.
Please ensure the address includes all relevant information such as:
- company name
- unit number
- street address
- suburb
- state
- postcode
- country
- appropriate contact phone number.
If you notice an incorrect address, contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee an address can be changed after the order has been dispatched.
11. Business and Site Deliveries
For deliveries to:
- workshops
- warehouses
- construction sites
- hire companies
- industrial facilities
- other commercial premises,
please ensure there will be an appropriate person available to receive the shipment where required.
Large or heavy products may require appropriate unloading facilities.
Any special delivery restrictions should be communicated before dispatch where possible.
12. Authority to Leave
Some carriers may offer Authority to Leave or unattended delivery.
Where a customer instructs a carrier to leave a parcel without obtaining a signature, this may affect the carrier's liability for theft or loss after delivery.
Nothing in this provision excludes responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Damaged Deliveries
Please inspect shipments when they arrive where reasonably possible.
If packaging or products appear damaged:
- take photographs of the packaging
- take photographs of the product
- retain the packaging where possible
- contact us promptly.
Contact:
Please include your order number and photographs.
14. Missing or Lost Shipments
If tracking indicates an unusual delay or you believe an order has been lost, please contact us.
We will work with the carrier to investigate.
The carrier may require additional time to conduct a freight investigation before a shipment is formally declared lost.
Applicable consumer rights are not affected.
15. Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple products may be dispatched in more than one shipment where appropriate.
This may occur where:
- some products are in stock and others are on backorder
- special-order products have different lead times
- products are dispatched from different locations.
Where practical, tracking information will be supplied for each shipment.
Additional freight will not be charged merely because EWP Spares elects to split an order unless this has been agreed with you.
16. Large and Heavy Products
Certain products may require specialised freight because of their:
- size
- weight
- dangerous goods classification
- handling requirements.
For these products, the Website may:
- calculate freight separately
- request that you contact us
- allow an order subject to a freight quotation.
We will advise you where additional freight arrangements are required.
17. International Shipping
EWP Spares may ship to selected international destinations, including the United Kingdom and United States.
International shipping availability depends on:
- destination country
- product
- product dimensions and weight
- freight-provider availability
- applicable import or export restrictions.
Shipping options will be displayed at checkout where available.
For orders that cannot be automatically calculated, please contact us for a freight quotation.
18. International Transit Times
International delivery times vary significantly depending on:
- country
- carrier
- service level
- customs processing
- local delivery networks
- product type.
Any international delivery timeframe is an estimate.
Customs clearance can add additional time outside EWP Spares' direct control.
19. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
International orders may be subject to:
- customs duties
- VAT
- sales tax
- import tax
- customs processing fees
- brokerage fees
- other government charges.
The way these charges are handled depends on the destination and the shipping arrangement shown at checkout.
Where EWP Spares expressly collects applicable taxes or duties at checkout, those amounts will be handled in accordance with the applicable arrangement.
Where duties, taxes or import charges are not collected by EWP Spares, they are generally payable by the recipient when the shipment enters the destination country.
Customers should check applicable local requirements before ordering.
20. United Kingdom Orders
Orders sent to the United Kingdom may be subject to UK:
- VAT
- customs requirements
- import duties
- carrier clearance requirements.
The applicable treatment may depend on the value of the shipment and how the order is processed at checkout.
Any taxes collected by EWP Spares will be identified during checkout where applicable.
Any charges not collected at checkout may be payable by the recipient.
UK consumer delivery and cancellation rights apply where required by law.
21. United States Orders
Orders sent to the United States may be subject to:
- federal import requirements
- customs processing
- duties or tariffs
- applicable state taxes
- carrier brokerage or clearance requirements.
Charges will be handled according to the shipping and tax arrangement applicable to the particular order.
Import requirements can change and customers are encouraged to check local requirements for specialised products.
22. Customs Delays
EWP Spares cannot directly control how quickly customs authorities process an international shipment.
We may assist with reasonable documentation requests relating to the shipment.
Customers are responsible for promptly providing information requested by local customs authorities or carriers where required.
23. Refused International Deliveries
International customers should not refuse a shipment solely to avoid customs duties, VAT, taxes or import charges.
If a delivery is refused, the carrier may return, abandon or dispose of the shipment and may charge additional costs.
Where permitted by law, reasonable costs incurred because of an unjustified refusal may be deducted from any refund otherwise payable.
This does not affect rights arising where EWP Spares sent the wrong product, the product is faulty or applicable law otherwise requires a different outcome.
24. Import Restrictions
Some products may be subject to destination-country import restrictions.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products may legally be imported and used in their country unless EWP Spares has expressly agreed to manage that requirement.
If you are unsure whether we can ship a particular product internationally, contact us before ordering.
25. Shipping to Freight Forwarders
Where a customer asks us to deliver to an independent freight forwarder, the customer is responsible for their separate arrangement with that freight forwarder.
Our responsibility for the initial delivery will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and the agreed delivery arrangement.
We are not responsible for services independently provided by a freight forwarder selected and engaged by the customer.
26. Delays Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for a delay solely caused by an event outside our reasonable control.
Examples include:
- natural disasters
- severe weather
- carrier outages
- port congestion
- customs delays
- industrial action
- government restrictions
- war or civil disturbance
- international freight disruption.
Where an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to provide information and available options.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
